Audio Data Policy
All audio recorded at Alien Prose UK is your intellectual property. Files will be provided in the original recorded format (typically .wav files via Pro Tools or Logic Pro X). If you require stems or alternate formats, these can be supplied for a small additional fee.
We strongly encourage all clients to back up their files immediately after each session. While we aim to retain all session data for up to five years as a courtesy, this is not guaranteed. Alien Prose UK is not responsible for any data loss after your session has been completed and files delivered.
Booking Information
At Alien Prose UK, we offer flexible studio bookings to suit a wide range of creative needs:
Session Options:
2 hours – Minimum booking
4 hours – Half session / Half day
8 hours – Full session / Full day
Dry & Wet Hire Available
We offer two standard hire options for every booking:
Dry Hire: Includes studio access and equipment only. Ideal for artists or engineers who prefer to manage their own session. Our setup is plug-and-play, simply connect your laptop via USB-C and you’re good to go.
Wet Hire: Includes support from one of our in-house engineers, who will assist with setup and recording throughout your session.
T&C, Cancellation & Refund Policy
A 30% deposit is required to secure all studio bookings unless full payment is selected at checkout.
Booking Notice
All sessions must be booked at least 48 hours in advance and are subject to studio confirmation.
Balance Payments
Where a deposit is used, the remaining balance must be paid no later than 24 hours before the scheduled session. Failure to complete payment may result in the session being released or cancelled.
Cancellations & Rescheduling
Cancellations made more than 7 days before the scheduled session may be rescheduled once, subject to availability. If no reschedule is arranged, the deposit will be forfeited.
Cancellations made within 7 days of the session will result in the loss of the deposit.
Cancellations made within 48 hours of the session may be charged the full session fee at the studio’s discretion.
Late Arrivals & No-Shows
Session time begins at the scheduled start time. Late arrival by the client does not extend the booked session. Failure to attend a confirmed session without notice will be treated as a cancellation within 48 hours.
Promotions & Discounted Offers
All deals, promotions, and sales (including Black Friday, seasonal offers, coupon offers, or bundle discounts) require 100% payment at the time of booking and are non-refundable and non-transferable, unless otherwise stated in writing by Alien Prose UK.
Session Satisfaction & Revisions
At Alien Prose UK, your satisfaction matters. If you are not fully satisfied with the outcome of your session, please contact us within 10 days of delivery or session completion.
Where reasonable, we may offer a complimentary correction session or revision to address technical concerns.
This goodwill provision does not apply to issues beyond our control, including but not limited to:
– artist performance or preparation
– insufficient booked session time
– creative preference changes after approval
– third-party file issues
– last-minute client changes
Client Responsibility
Clients are responsible for:
– arriving prepared for their session
– bringing all necessary materials and files
– confirming session details prior to attendance
Alien Prose UK is not responsible for incomplete projects resulting from client delays, missing materials, or insufficient booked time.
Studio Discretion & Right to Refuse
Alien Prose UK reserves the right to:
– refuse or terminate a session in cases of unsafe, abusive, or inappropriate behaviour
– reschedule sessions due to technical issues, emergencies, or circumstances beyond our control
– offer alternative times where the originally requested slot is unavailable
In such cases, reasonable efforts will be made to accommodate the client.
Data & Payment Security
Alien Prose UK does not store or retain clients’ financial card information. All payments are processed securely via approved third-party payment providers.
Client contact details are handled in accordance with applicable UK data protection regulations.
